ADULT REGISTRATION

Welcome to 4-H EDGE Weekend!  We are very pleased to bring this opportunity to our Maine 4-H members and parents.  There are two ways parents and other adults can participate in this year's EDGE.  Attend a day-long set of tours, panels, and informational sessions to learn more about how to support your child on their road to college.  Register to be a chaperone.  Or do both…. And ride the bus! We will transport you between your hotel and the University!

Volt Trained Chaperones Needed!

In order to make sure everyone has a safe and fun time at the 4-H EDGE weekend, we are asking for 6-8 volunteers to help chaperone this event.  Volunteers will not need to pay the registration fee. Chaperones will arrive with the youth on May 15, sleep in the residence hall, and stay until the end of the program on May 16.  You will have a choice of attending the parent sessions (sign up above) or attending assigned workshops as a chaperone.  We ask that chaperones attend different workshops than their children.

If we have more volunteer chaperones than needed, we will try to make sure we have a geographic distribution.  We will notify you either way by the first of May.

Chaperones will receive an information packet with chaperone guidelines before EDGE weekend and we are planning a tele-conference training before you come.  Thanks!!

I would be willing to act as a chaperone for 4-H EDGE Weekend
