Roles & Responsibilities

Term:

• one year, renewable

• must be an active member of the Animal Science Committee (ASC) (refer to ASC Member Roles & Responsibilities)

• in most instances, must have at least one year of experience on the committee

• time commitment is estimated at 10 to 40 hours per year

Role:

• track income and expenses related to activities and events sponsored by the ASC

Responsibilities:

• in collaboration with committee members and the Staff Liaison, prepare an annual budget

• keep accurate records of all income, donations, and expenses incurred by the ASC to support their activities and events

• work with the Activity Coordinator to determine the amount, if any, of ESE participation fees to be paid by ESE team members

• submit a list of team members and amount of participation fees, if any, to the S4HO

• provide timely reports to the State 4-H Office (S4HO) as requested

• ensure that expenses covered by Pine Tree State 4-H Foundation funds are billed and paid by the end of the calendar year in which they occurred
