2009 Calendar of Events

February 15 – State Quiz Bowl Competition @ the Farm Bureau Building in Augusta at 1:00pm 

February – September: Quiz Bowl Practices 

April 18 – State Judging Contest – TBA 

April – September:  Judging Practices 

May 1st - Approval forms due to your county office in order to participate at ESE 

May 1st  - Intent to participate at ESE, due to Leanne Moon (obtain intent form on 4-H website) Mail to: 24 Village View Lane, Freeport ME 04032 

June  - rabies shots 

June 15th - State Show entries and copy of animal registration due to State 4-H Office; 5741 Libby Hall, Orono ME 04469-5741 

July 18th – State Fitting Contest @ 5:00pm at the Windsor Fairgrounds 

July 19th – State 4-H Dairy Show @9:00am at the Windsor Fairgrounds 

August 1st – ESE Entry Applications due to Leanne Moon, include 1st choice and alternate as well as copies of animal registrations 

August 1st – Transportation fee for ESE due to Donna Flint, 21 Bradeen St., Suite 302, Box 7, Springvale ME 04083 

September 17th – leave for Eastern States Exposition 

September 20th – Return to Maine from ESE
