After the winter we have had, who couldn't use a little energizer??  Come and enjoy of day of activities guaranteed to get you on the road the 4-H SUMMER success.

First there will be a public speaking clinic—practice for our Countywide event to be held as part of June Jamboree—this will be  a lot of fun and there is nothing you will find more useful in your life than knowing how to speak comfortably in public.

Next pick a workshop from one of our 4 Maine program areas—Science, Engineering and Technology, Healthy Lifestyles, Leadership or Earth Connections.  Get started on something you can exhibit  or use at Fair.

There will also be adult volunteer  and parent sessions—one on Cloverbud activities and another on getting new families ready for fairs.  If you have another topic to suggest, please let Christy know!

 Combined Logo Clothing….

What is the combined logo?  It a logo that includes both the 4-H Clover and the University of Maine Cooperative Extension logo.  It is a great way to let people know about our 4-H connection to the University.  There are vests, long and short sleeved t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies, denim shirts and a cap.  Prices are very reasonable—for example $9.00 for the t-shirt.  The first round of orders needs to go in by March 10 with payment  before April 15, but if there is interest we will be able to put in another order.

 Robotics and Rocketry Projects

If we have enough interest, we can organize a day long robotics training for Aroostook County.  If your club is interested or if you know of a teacher or an after-school program who would like to participate in this training, please let Christy know before the March 20.

And, if your club is doing or thinking about doing a rocketry program, there is grant money we may be able to access to support it.  Again, let Christy know.
