Patricia A. Conrad, D.V.M.,Ph.D.

Title: Nowhere to
Hide: A "One Health" Perspective
Dr. Patricia Conrad is
a veterinarian and protozoologist whose interest is in zoonotic disease
transmission at the interface between wildlife, humans and domestic
animals.
Dr. Conrad received her D.V.M. from Colorado State University and her
Ph.D. in Tropical Animal Health and Protozology from the University of
Edinburgh in Scotland. She has worked on tropical animal diseases of
livestock and wildlife in Scotland, Kenya South Africa and South
America. She is a 2004 Aldo Leopold Leadership Fellow working to better
convey environmental science to the policy makers and the public.
