The next phase our POW planning process is at hand and together the Plan of Work Task Force and UMCE Program Administrators would like to inform you of four upcoming POW Logic Model Planning Sessions. This part of the process will require input from you, and all programming staff, through attendance at one or more of the sessions.
As you may know, the next POW will be expressed in the logic model format, with a new reporting system being designed to reflect this. These sessions will bring together staff around common issues to develop Learning (short-term) Outcomes and Action (medium-term) Outcomes that address one or more of our state goals. The results will be used by staff later in the year to define intentions for the next POW through individual and group logic models that will make up your next plan of work.
The sessions will be held in Orono during May and June, each on a different day (schedule below). Each session will have a general focus defined by a grouping of UMCE Issue Areas. You will choose which session or sessions to attend, but are strongly encouraged to attend as many sessions as necessary to capture the breadth of work that you intend to do during the next POW. It is your responsibility to ensure that your work is visible in the POW by participating in this process.
Session Registration & Schedule:
Please register your intention to attend one or more of the sessions on the UMCE Staff Development Web site:
