4-H in Waldo County

Welcome to 4-H  & Youth Development!

4-H is the youth development education program of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.  4-H participants range from aged 5 to 19 and, traditionally, have organized themselves into 4-H clubs to support each other as they take on  "learn by doing" projects.

Young people can also become involved in 4-H through school enrichment programs,
4-H camps, by creating individual projects of their own, and many other activities.

Waldo County has a rich variety of 4-H and youth programs and clubs serving Waldo County.  We also offer a variety of 4-H curricula for school and after-school settings.

Our newsletter, "4-H On the Move" provides the most current information on our programs and activities.

Our web calendar lets you know what is happening here and across the state.

The 4-H Leaders' Association meeting is a great opportunity to network with other leaders, and to become involved in a deeper way with Waldo County 4-H!

4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills.
