Maine 4-H Youth Development Low Risk Management Policies, Procedures & Guidelines |
|
Welcome to 4-H & Youth Development! 4-H is the youth development
education program of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.
4-H participants range from aged 5 to 19 and, traditionally, have organized
themselves into 4-H clubs to support each other as they take on "learn by
doing" projects. Our newsletter, "4-H On the Move" provides the most current information on our programs and activities. Our web calendar lets you know what is happening here and across the state. The 4-H Leaders' Association meeting is a great opportunity to network with other leaders, and to become involved in a deeper way with Waldo County 4-H! |
4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills.
Maine 4-H Youth Development Mission
Educate and empower Maine youth through hands-on and community based experiences.
Maine 4-H Youth Development Vision
Maine youth acquire the knowledge, life skills, leadership abilities and attitudes to help them succeed now and in the future
through effective collaborations, hands-on experiential education and self-directed learning.
