If beautiful summer days kayaking across glassy lakes, or floating downriver in a canoe appeal to you, Paddling Adventures Camp is for you!  Using energetic games and drills, paddling instructors move students gradually from basic to more advanced boat handling techniques.  Safety is stressed throughout the week through boat rescue and emergency preparedness practice.  Participants will have the opportunity to earn their Maine State boating safety certification. You will be on the water every day, so you will have plenty of time to practice and develop your skills. The week will culminate in a paddling adventure on Lake Umbagog and the Upper Androscoggin River. Of course, traditional camp activities such as swimming, hiking, wildlife and much more are also part of the week's fun!
