"Lakeside Lodge" Capital Campaign

University of Maine 4-H Camp & Learning Center at Bryant Pond Capital Campaign receives $200,000 challenge gift

We are pleased to announce that the University of Maine 4-H Camp & Learning Center at Bryant Pond has recently received a challenge gift of $200,000.00 for construction of a new 4-season classroom building for youth natural resource education programs. The Bolger Foundation of Ridgewood, New Jersey has given the camp one year to raise matching cash donations in order to receive the funds. Proposed Lakeside Lodge

Our new Board of Directors and administration has made it a priority to expand our facilities to enable year-round programming. We have recently been working to design a new four season building, which will include: sleeping quarters and bath facilities for 28 people, 3 classroom spaces, a small kitchen, a seasonal infirmary and house a museum quality display of Maine wildlife and geology specimens.

Other facilities improvements and repairs will also be addressed during this campaign.

We greatly appreciate any support you can give in our effort to reach our goal of securing matching cash donations!
