Maine Highlands Guild

The MH Guild is a non-profit organization whose mission is to educate the public about the culture, artistic traditions, and opportunities in The Maine Highlands. Membership is open to the public.

Maine Mountain Counties Heritage Network

The MMH Network is an association of businesses, non-profit organizations, and government entities focused on heritage-based economic and community development in Oxford, Franklin, Somerset, Piscataquis and Northern Penobscot Counties in Maine. The MMH Network is governed by a steering committee of fifteen people representing many interests and areas within and beyond the region. Mountain Counties Heritage, Inc. serves as lead agency for the Network.

HandMade in America

HandMade in America is a regional non-profit committed to sustainable community and economic development, works extensively with artisans and small towns in western north Carolina. HandMade's community and leadership development programs have contributed to the formation of the Maine Highlands Guild, Cultural Heritage Ecotourism Committee-PCEDC, and the Mountain Counties Heritage Network.

The Wisconsin Heritage Tourism website features information and access to 12 distinct heritage areas in Wisconsin. The WHT Program was established in 1990 to increase the awareness of the importance of history and culture to the residents and visitors of Wisconsin, and to provide economic development opportunities to areas based on history and tourism. The program was designed to help local areas develop, package and promote their historical resources.
