Bulletin #2751
Grow-Light long description
This
drawing shows a grow-light frame built of three-quarter-inch PVC
pipe. The base is a rectangle. The long sides of the rectangle each
consist of a four-foot-two-inch length of pipe with elbow joints at
each end. The short sides of each consist of a four-inch segment of
PVC pipe, followed by a T-joint, a six-inch segment of PVC pipe,
another T-joint, and another four-inch segment of PVC pipe. These
short sides attach to the elbow joints of the long sides to form the
rectangular base. Rising from each T-joint is a vertical two-foot
segment of PVC pipe with an elbow joint on the end. A
four-foot-two-inch length of PVC pipe connects these elbow joints
together, across the length of the base frame. A shop light is
suspended from each of these two segments so that the lights hang
above the plant trays, which are inside the base frame. The lights
hang two to four inches above the tops of the plants.
